Wine Down Wednesday- A delightful red blend under $18.99

It has been a while since I have done a wine down Wednesday post!  But now that I am so close to NOT being pregnant , I thought it was the right time. I also recently tasted one of the best red blends I have ever had this past weekend on my birthday.  It was too good not to share.

The name of the blend is “2013 Tablas Creek Patelin De  Tablas Rouge” from the Paso Robles region in California.  It is a blend of the following grapes; Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre.  Anything I have ever had with the Mourvedre grape has been insanely awesome, so I was not surprised.  Each sip has a lot of different layers to it and at the risk of butchering the perfect description on the website, I will stop there.

Here is what you need to know:

  • You can get it here. WineLibrary.com is a great resource for all different types of wines at about $5 less than most retails. And you can get free shipping.

  • $16.36 a bottle @ winelibrary.com

  • It tastes amazing. You can drink it with anything.

I look forward to toasting with you all very soon!  In the meantime go wine down and cheers!
